Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2025
PrivaJet ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the PRIVA Wallet application and the privajet.fi website collect, how it is used, and your rights in relation to it.
1. Information We Collect
The PRIVA Wallet is a self-custodial desktop application. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data from inside the wallet application. Specifically:
- Your private keys and seed phrases are stored locally on your device only and are never sent to our servers.
- Your wallet addresses and transaction history are fetched directly from the Ethereum blockchain via public RPC endpoints.
- We do not require account registration or an email address to use the wallet.
When you visit privajet.fi, standard web server logs may be collected by our hosting provider, including your IP address, browser type, and pages accessed. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
2. How We Use Information
We do not sell, share, or monetise any personal data. Server logs retained by our hosting provider are used solely for security and operational purposes.
3. Blockchain Data
Transactions you make using the PRIVA Wallet are broadcast to the Ethereum blockchain, which is a public, immutable ledger. Once broadcast, transaction data is publicly visible and cannot be deleted. This is an inherent property of blockchain technology and is not within our control.
4. Third-Party Services
The wallet communicates with public Ethereum RPC endpoints to read blockchain state. These endpoints may log request data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any RPC provider you configure.
5. Data Retention
Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. All wallet data lives on your local device under your control.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, or erase personal data we hold about you. As we do not collect personal data, these rights apply only to any incidental server-log data held by our hosting provider.

7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the website or wallet after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
